Public transport

Arrival at Hannover main station. Continue by cab (cost: approx. EUR 9,-) or by streetcar from Kröpcke station (5 min from the main station along Bahnhofsstr.) with lines 4 or 5 in the direction of Stöcken or Garbsen to Schneiderberg/Wilhelm-Busch-Museum stop. 5 min walk to the institute:

CAR

Arrival from the west or east (A2):

From the exit 'Hannover Herrenhausen' of the A2, take the Westschnellweg in the direction of Hannover. At the Herrenhausen exit, direction 'Universität', the route continues along Herrenhäuser Straße.

From the now following Nienburger Straße along Herrenhäuser Allee turn left into Schneiderberg. Callinstraße is crossed and then a left turn is made into Appelstraße. The second entrance to the left (underpass) leads to Appelstraße 9a (high-rise building).


Arriving from the north (A7):

From the freeway junction 'Hannover Nord' via the freeway junction A352 to the A2 in the direction of Dortmund. Immediately afterwards, take the exit 'Hannover Herrenhausen' as described above.


Arriving from the south (A7):

At the Messe exit, branch off onto the A37 and drive via the connecting Messeschnellweg to the Seelhorster Kreuz junction. From here, follow the signs for Nienburg (B6). In detail, this means that you should first drive in the direction of the city center via the Südschnellweg, turn right into Frankfurter Allee when you reach the first traffic circle and continue via the Ricklinger Kreisel, Friedrich Ebert Straße, Göttinger Straße, Deisterplatz (traffic circle) and the Westschnellweg until you reach the Herrenhausen exit. The route then continues as described above via Herrenhäuser Straße.

Plane

Arrival at Hannover Airport (HAJ). Continue by cab (costs: approx. EUR 20,-) or with the S-Bahn line S5 direction Hameln to the stop Hannover Nordstadt. From there it is a 10 min walk to the institute:
