Investigations on the fatigue loading of thin walled and resource efficient UHPFRC segmental bridges verfasst von Marvin Wilkening, Linus Joachim, Vincent Oettel Abstract Many reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete bridges are defective or can no longer withstand the increased traffic loads for a sufficiently long time.

Analysis of a complex polyploid plant genome using molecular markers Strong evidence for segmental allooctoploidy in garden dahlias authored by Stephan Schie, Rajiv Chaudhary, Thomas Debener Abstract In some plant genera that contain species with complex genomes, the level and type of ploidy are still unknown due to a lack of characterized reference species and contradictory results from genetic and cytogenetic studies.

As one of the innovations, segment tower structure was developed. Due to its prefabrication and segmental construction characteristic, it suits particularly well for tower structures. The resulting segment joints which have already been extensively studied in bridge construction are of great importance.

T2 maps were segmented according to the 16 segments AHA model and segmental T2 values and pixel standard deviation SD were recorded. Afterwards, the parameters maxT2 the highest segmental T2 value and madSD the mean absolute deviation MAD of the pixel SDs were calculated for each subject.
Using radiopaque markers, segmental colonic transit time CTT was measured in 48 lean/overweight participants with long colonic transit but without constipation. Fecal microbiota composition was determined using 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing.
Blaak Abstract Longer colonic transit time and hard stools are associated with increased gut microbiota diversity. Here, we investigate to what extent quantitative measures of segmental colonic transit time were related to gut microbiota composition, microbial metabolites, and gut related parameters in a human cross sectional study.
