The Section of Didactics of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (DEI) at Leibniz Universität Hannover was newly founded in 2021 (as successor of the Center for Didactics of Technology, ZDT). It is part of both the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and the Leibniz School of Education. In research we are active in the didactics of electrical engineering and the didactics of computer science. In teaching, we offer lectures, seminars, laboratories and projects for the teacher training programs. In addition, we are responsible for the introductory phase of studies in electrical engineering and computer science.
